lol, Windows XP x64 isn't a beta anymore. It was officially released a little over a month ago...

It only has 1 problem... Picky Drivers, which will be fixed soon since everyone is working on 64bit drivers now. :-)

Is the 64Bit version of Punkbuster available yet? As far as im aware PB wont run under x64. This may be your problem though crashing to the desktop dosnt sound like a PB problem sounds more driver related.

Well, no, windows XP 64 isn't a beta anymore, but it's still a little instable, and there is
updates comming up. People find errors and problems all the day, and this is because
it's so new.

you know you do need to update your bios and drivers for sound, gfx, nic, mouseware ,..ect ect i wonder if you properly prepared your pc for winxp 64?,i know many using it that do play joint ops without issues. i was close to installing winxp 64 some months ago and i know i had to go find all the pertinent x64 drivers for all my apps and hardware if remember it went like this,
flash bios with x64 version>format c:>install xp x64> driver x64 for audigy> driver x64 for the ethernet nic>flash the vid card bios for x64 and use nvidia x64 driver package. or something along those lines either way it would have been a painstaking issue , to step my pc up from x32 to x64 smoothly. i think you may have forgotten or missed a step.
