It's all wrapped in a blanket of mystery though! Plus: development of Battlefield 2 on PSP suspended
Digital Illusions (best known for its Battlefield games and the RalliSport Challenge series, and to a lesser extent Barbie: Groovy Games) has announced that it's developing a mystery new PC title in the shooter genre. It'll be published by EA in autumn 2006 and whipped into shape at the dev studio's Stockholm HQ. And, erm, that's all we know.
Anyone want to place a bet that it's a new Battlefield game? Battlefield: The Future, maybe, or perhaps Battlefield: Dinosaur where an uber-powered T-Rex gets to eat absolutely everything? Could be.
History buffs may recall that Digital Illusions also announced another untitled PC game previously in June this year (http://global.dice.se/press/pressreleases/?article=af88f963-b0b7-44c6-b5d4-7c67a69e0fa1&page=0). Why oh why can't these games just be named so everything's a little clearer, godammit? And presumably these are actually different PC projects...?
