Nova-Inside in new ownership |
 |
|
As from today Nova-Inside.com and it's sister-sites have been taken over by SOB-WYD- and therefor I will sign off over here as owner/administrator of Nova-Inside.
I want to thank all our visitors for visiting by the last few years we have been around the scene.
My thanks goes out to all the past and current staff which greatly helped us growing and growing.
My last thanks are for NovaLogic, uhmms......well the former NovaLogic employees, like Marcus Beer and Anthony Newall, who knew who we were and who knew how to maintain contacts with the community.
I wish SOB-WYD- all the luck and pleasure taken over daily command and ownership of Nova-Inside.
Atomic out! |

Nova-Inside in search for a new owner. |
 |
|
My faith in NovaLogic have sunk too much in order to have fun keeping this site up-to-date.
Because of this I want to sell Nova-Inside to someone else and thereby the ownership of Nova-Inside, it's sister-sites and products (like the Pinger series).
It includes the domain-name rights and ownership (DF-Inside.com & Nova-Inside.com).
Some new layouts/designs for Nova-Inside, Action-Inside, BF-Inside ,Host-Inside.
Owned version of Jelsoft vBulletin®.
Rights and dev files of the Pinger series.
Off course everything at the FTP (coding (files) etc)
Want to have some more information or got some questions then you can contact me at:
MSN: atomic@nova-inside.com or send me a PM at these forums.
Note: you cant mail me at atomic@nova-inside.com.
Only come with serious bids or proposals. |

DF:BHD | DFBHDPinger 6.0 solution to work with it |
 |
|
Many post with different solutions were posted over here and other forums.
The only good solution which seems to work at the moment is the following:
- Go to www.novaworld2.com and login or create an new account
- If you were allready logged in at the NovaWorld2 site then logout and login back. (That will update your cookie)
- Now start DFBHDPinger 6.0 and everything should work
Not that when you leave the NovaWorld2 site the cookie will expire and DFBHDPinger could stop working, so basicly when you want to use DFBHDPinger you have to go to the NovaWorld2 site first.
I still will go further with the developement of a new version of DFBHDPinger which could have a permanent fix without the "by-pass" need. |

JO MOD | IC:Europe Version 2.0 Released |
 |
|

The ICE v2.0.0. is being publicly released
The patch can be installed on top of versions:1.0.5, 1.0.6, 1.1.6
(If you want to hang on to v1.1.6 for a little while so you can play on other public servers untill they are updated to v2.0.0. - you need to copy your "ice" folder in you "...Typhoon Rising/expansion/ice" directory and rename it to something like "ice116" and then run the v2.0.0 patch to update the mod to version 2, when you want to run v1.1.6 again - rename the updated ice folder to "ice2" and rename "ice116" folder back to "ice", to get back to v2.0.0 - do the opposite)

You can download the JO:IC MOD patch 2.0.0 over here.
The changelog you can find at the first reply post. |

DF:X2 | 3 new screenshots released |
 |
|
NovaLogic have released, by Ravenn, 3 new screenshots from DeltaForce: Xtreme2.
Also NovaLogic is testing a new exe file for DF:Xtreme1, version 1.7.0.2, but observant visitors from Nova-Inside could have know the latest version of DF:X2 is 1.7.0.1.
So basically everyone testing out the new .exe file for DF:Xtreme 1 is also testing something for DF:Xtreme2.

Ravenn, employee of NovaLogic, have released the following information:
Quote:
Note - this is not a press release - we'll be doing that soon, hopefully. I've been seeing the same questions pop up and I'll answer some of 'em here...
1.is dfx2 due out in february ? amazon and some other sites are takingpre orders for the game for dates between the 9 - 21 of feb 09.
There is no firm date, but I think March is more accurate based on Marketing and Distribution needs. Gives us more time to polish it anyways.
2. is dfx2 made on the same engine as dfaf?
No, DFX2 is not using the DFAF engine ( and yes, it's a totally separate game, and it's not a replacement for DFAF )
3.is dfx2 being shipped on dvd-rom or cd-rom, depending on what web site pre order i read some say cd some say dvd.
I'm pretty sure it's on DVD - we're planning on including a lot of content for mappers.
4. please can you tell me the spec of system needed to run dfx2.
Not official yet, but it will basically run fine on the same specs as DFX. It will probably have a larger HD footprint, and a little more RAM and juice on the video card isn't going to hurt - but if you can run DFX fine now - you'll be ok.
Also, DFX2 is not a remake or update of DF2 as a lot of people have been speculating. It's original missions, all new maps and terrains ( plus all the old terrains as well ).
Anti-cheat and hack reporting will be much more solid than previous games.
We'll try and 'leak' some more screens this week for you guys as well

They also released some terrain screenshots which will remind us of DF2 and DFLW, giving me back the good old feeling

It's almost 2009, a look back at 2008! |
 |
|
First of all I want to quote myself, this is what I wrote exactly 1 year ago:
Quote:
Another year almost behind us, just a few days left and we will enter the year 2008.
Will it be the year NovaLogic will come out with a new game for the PC? Or will we hear that they will stop there activities as a gamedeveloper?
As for the year 2007 we wished the same, more information from NovaLogic, what they are doing, a new game release..........but too bad for us they didn't tell us any concrete things they are working on......
........
|
Well now we know NovaLogic is working on a new title for the PC, named DeltaForce: Angel Falls, will it be released next year, NovaLogic's distributors says it will..........I doubt it.
2009 will be the year with more info, media footage and maybe even a release of NovaLogic's new game, sounds good to me finally the time to look arround many many sites to obtain more info about DF: AngelFalls and to be the first to let you guys know.
A summary of what we did let you know last year:
- NovaLogic tried to screw up the functionality of BHDPinger with changing the NovaWorld login procedure, they succeed for a few weeks
We released BHDPinger 6.0, thanks to Dstructr.
- The International Conflict MOD team gained their approval for their IC: Europe MOD for JO and released it.
- After two years of absence the Reality MOD team have released a new version for their Joint Operations mod; update 2.5.1.
- Then the news almost everyone was waiting for all those years.
Screenshots, game info and system requirements for DF:AngelFalls were released!
Basicly that was most of the important news at the NovaLogic community last year, not much but some real good news, let's hope the year 2009 will be a better one for the community.
Nova-Inside yearly stats:
Bandwidth usage: 2.8 terabytes (TB)
Visits: 1.108.525
Hits: 31.865.172
New thread: 247
New posts: 1378
What can I say, a decrease in almost every stat detail, we can see it all over the community, not many players at the lobbies, community forums dying out slowly.........let's hope NovaLogic's new game will bring back the community activity.
We as Nova-Inside will keep doing our best to obtain the latest news and downloads but can't without your help.
As for 2009 we want to get our new design live, I remember I have told you many times before but this will be the year.......I hope.
So if there are some PHP/xHTML coders and GFX designers over there willing to help us getting our "new" design live, then contact me by mail/pm/or reply in here.
Nova-Inside wishes everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year and we hope to see you back in 2009.
